Proper hygiene is critical when making face masks for healthcare providers

Wash your hands for 60 seconds with soap and water

Sterilize your sewing machine with disinfectant

Wash your hands again before continuing to work

Wear a face mask while making a face mask


  1. Add bias tape to the four corners as tie backs. Each tie back to measure 18”

  2. Update Google docs daily as a form of tracking your progress

    1. Materials you need to complete the mask

    2. How many masks have been completed for pickup

  3. Refer Instructions , Image Gallery and Video Tips

  4. Practice Social Distancing, and always keep a minimum of 6 ft distance

  5. Practice hygienic measures

    1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water

    2. Use alcohol based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if you do not have access to soap and water

    3. Avoid touching your face with your bare hands

    4. Use gloves where possible
